The Banyan Farm, Chhapra

The idea while designing this farmhouse was to build a space which could overlook the beauty of the neighbouring landscape. Considering the space, we built a 14-foot cantilever slab overhung from the living area. This cantilever slab spans about 70 feet in length providing a semi-open space literally in the arms of the majestic Banyan tree.
