Targhadi Farm, Rangpar

We were given a beautiful linear site next to one of the vital natural reservoirs of the city. Owing to the linearity of the site, we developed two main chucks of built mass flanking opposite ends of the garden area and the miyawaki forest. We treated the center as a monumental node that holds the contrasting landscape on either side in a direct axis. The entire house is conceived as a super modern house that converses differently with the contrasting landscape around and yet creates a harmony of its own.
